  1. The Shades of Truth Theater is featuring "Black Wall Street," in play format through Sunday, October 5, 2014. Shows are featured: Thursdays & Fridays: 7:30pm / Saturdays: 3pm & 8pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm.
    The Shades of Truth Theater is located at the ANDREW FREEDMAN HOME, 1125 Grand Concourse,
    Bronx New York, (between 166th st / McClellan). Take the D-Train to 167 St. and come out the McClellan Ave./Grand Concourse exit. The Andrew Freedman Home is surrounded by a gate. The Shades of Truth Theatre lies within.

    The play Black Wall Street is written by Celeste Bedford Walker; directed by Michael Green & Fulton Hodges and staged managed by Karimah. Creative Team: Bill Toles (sound/video) Chris Cumberbatch (Set design); Dyane Harvey (choreography) Valerie Irizarry & Carolyn Adams (costume)

    Be sure to catch a depiction of Black History that happened in 1921 to the Black economic district in Tulsa, OK. You will be glad you did.
